Paragraph

The Paragraph block is extended by the Greyd Plugin with responsive layout and typography controls that help you manage spacing, line clamping, and readability across breakpoints.

Settings

A standout feature is the Text lines control. This allows you to limit the number of visible lines a paragraph should display. The number of lines can be set responsively using a number input. Once a number was set, enabling the Force number of text lines toggle will enforce strict line clamping, even if it results in truncated text. This is particularly useful for designing card layouts or content previews with consistent height.

In the Advanced panel, the block supports the Styles class, CSS animation, Hide per breakpoint and Inline CSS. See the Advanced panel documentation for more details.

Styles

You can define a maximum width for the paragraph text via a Range Unit Control component. This helps prevent overly wide text blocks, especially on large screens, improving legibility. Settings can be defined per breakpoint.

You can also adjust the Margin under Spaces per breakpoint using the Dimension Control Spacing component, giving you precise control over text placement within the layout.
